Intro
Türkiye is a country of diverse landscapes, cultures, and histories, but it also faces challenges related to marginalisation and inequality. Its marginalised regions often struggle with issues such as poverty, limited infrastructure, inadequate healthcare, and educational disparities. Some parts of Türkiye, for instance, have faced longstanding challenges due to a combination of historical, social, and political factors. Certain communities in this region have experienced periods of tension and conflict, impacting their socio-economic well-being. Similarly, the eastern Anatolia region has faced challenges including a lack of robust infrastructure, economic underdevelopment, and restricted access to essential services.
While progress has been made, there is still much work to be done to ensure that all regions of Türkiye can thrive and contribute to the country's overall development. By acknowledging and addressing the unique needs and challenges of its marginalized regions, Türkiye can move closer to achieving a more inclusive and prosperous future for all its citizens.
